Always love the food at a Mitchell’s. It reminds of a down home place with food delivered on nice clean plates and forks. They have a dash of southern hospitality and kindness and everyone there is extremely kind. The food is always delicious and I am left feeling completely full. The cornbread is PHENOMENAL and their black eyed peas are the best. This place is a staple in my family.

It was nice and friendly staff. I got the Mac n cheese, collard greens, smothered pork chops and sweet potato pie. The sides were good the pork chop was dry and the pie was okay but too sweet to my liking. My stars are for the staff and sides.

If you're looking for your grandma's southern soulfood cooking, Mitchell's is the place to get it. Everything on the menu is amazing and fresh, and their cakes are the bomb! Take heed it is a small place and Sunday is their busiest day because people come in droves after church to eat there, but Thursday - Saturday you'll definitely be seated immediately.
